Scott is one of our Directors, with both a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Masters of Business Administration. He also holds a NSCA Level 1 & 2 OH&S.
Specializing in operations management, quality assurance, contract administration, project and financial Management, Scott has worked as an Engineering Projects Manager for Willoughby City Council as well as Managing Director for Complete Engineering Solutions in London.
When he’s not working on his great schemes for HUB, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and watching the Cricket.
Bob is an owner and Director of the HUB Group with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney.
Designing and delivering well detailed, simple but effective public domain outcomes is a key focus for Bob.
Bob’s passion for Industrial Design, and for good design generally, ensures that HUB designs and makes smart products that last and that deliver real benefits for people using our public spaces. Bob loves sport, the beach and his family.
Chief Financial Officer
Todd Andrews is our Chief Financial Officer, and has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. Todd is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
Specializing in Accounting, Finance, Tax Compliance and Cash Management, Todd began his career working for International Chartered Accounting firms Deloitte and BDO, and has held key financial positions in companies located in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Prior to join HUB, Todd was the Chief Financial Officer of a Property Finance Group based in Las Vegas, Nevada.When Todd’s not counting the beans he enjoys spending time with his family and playing Soccer and Touch Football.
Imad is one of our Project Managers, with both a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Masters of Business Administration.
Specializing in Operations Management, Contract Administration, Project and Financial Management, Imad has worked as an Operations Manager for ELAN URBAN S.P.C In Qatar as well as a Senior Projects Manager for Streetscape Intl. in Dubai.
Imad enjoys spending time with his family and reading about everything.
Gavin has recently started with HUB and as a Program Manager he is responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. His career started by completing a coveted dual skilled engineering apprenticeship for Black and Decker (UK), gaining hands on technical experience, knowledge in all aspects of Quality Management while achieving the qualifications in Mechatronics and a Honors bachelor degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. He transferred into the automotive industry for NSK manufacturing safety critical steering columns, successfully delivering Renault Laguna and Alfa Romeo Giulietta. He also has experience in oil and gas and mining industries, leading project management activity of complex projects, solely taking ownership of individual contracts, communicating project objectives and dealing with all commercial, technical and logistics challenges associated with the execution.
Gavin has a passion for football (soccer, not rugby) and keeps up to date with all activity relating to his favourite team, Newcastle United – of the English Premier League.
Ed is a Program Manager at HUB, responsible for delivery of HUB.NODE and Smartpole projects in Australasia. Ed has 13 years of experience working as an Engineer and a Project Manager. He has been working with the Group in Sydney for the past 7 years delivering noteworthy projects for Public Sector Clients. Starting his career in Ireland, Ed worked as a Structural Engineer before arriving in Sydney in 2010.
When Ed is not elbow-deep in project programs and excel he enjoys lounging around Bondi with his family, along with surfing with the masses. Rumour has it that he is a handy golfer, and given he is rarely in the office it all makes sense!
Junior Project Manager
Minhas relocated from Qatar two years ago with a desire to pursue Master’s degree in Project Management from Curtin University, Sydney. Soon after graduation, he joined with Weir Minerals, Artarmon, as a quality project coordinator where he was tasked to ensure quality in every aspect of the project. After completing his term, he joined at the HUB as Junior Project Manager, responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. Minhas loves spending his time watching movies and TV Series, also has a great passion for cricket and follows it religiously.
Bobby is our Supply Coordinator, without whom nothing would get delivered! Bobby holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Business and Advanced Certificate in Purchasing and Logistics Management.
Bobby specialises in logistics and supply, and has held previous positions as a Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
In his spare time, Bobby enjoys swimming, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Jon is our Regional Manager for NZ and Special Projects, with a degree in Industrial Design.
Jonny is king of managing the design process from concept through to mass production specification, as well as liasing with design teams, manufacturers and clients. Before joining HUB, Jon was the General Manager of industrial design consultancy KWA Design, and Director of H+H Consulting, a multi-disciplined design consultancy with Tourism NZ, David Jones and Louis Vuitton as key clients. Lucky for us at HUB, he remains dedicated to fashion.
When he’s not flying back and forth between this great country and NZ, Jonny likes skiing, surfing, mountain biking and design innovation in all fields.
Graphic Designer & Sales Support
Elyse is our Business Development Assistant and in-house Graphic Designer, holding an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.
Specializing in designing marketing material such as corporate branding, websites, brochures, advertisements and tenders, Elyse also responds to the bulk of HUB sales enquiries. She’d love to hear from you!
When she’s not winning best-dressed awards at HUB events (she isa graphic designer), Elyse enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and doing a bit of painting and sketching.
Business Operations Coordinator
Brianne is HUB’s Business Operations Coordinator, working across all departments to deploy management support systems, provide operational support, and optimize business processes. Bre has a background in business operations, corporate finance, art and design. She has a passion for improvement and creating an efficient, supportive environment for her fellow colleagues. In her spare time, Bre enjoys walking the beautiful Sydney coastline with her family, watching live music, and painting.
Senior Financial Accountant
Esther is HUB’s Senior Financial Accountant. She holds degrees in Commerce and Translation, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Specialising in financial accounting, reporting and taxation, Esther has held previous positions as a Management Accountant at Levitch Design Associates and Senior Tax Accountant at Kelly Partners Chartered Accountants.
Esther is having fun learning about different nuts, bolts and poles here at HUB, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies and eating in Sydney’s restaurants.
Sylvia is HUB’s Accounts Officer, holding an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Retail Management alongside certificates in Japanese.
Sylvia keeps the place running with a smile, joining us from bookkeeping positions at Harrison Pharmacy Group and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
When she’s not fielding our various requests, Sylvia loves reading and trying various types of cuisine, occasionally playing a spot of table tennis and badminton.
Alex is our Creative Designer, holding a Master of Graphic Design and Fine Arts from Hungarian University of Fine Arts.
She provides graphic design solutions and concepts, and she also looks after Hub’s brand and marketing materials. Prior to Hub, she worked for various creative agencies where her tasks included giving creative and art direction, developing brands and key visuals, planning strategies and leading creative campaigns for clients from the initial brief to the final artwork.
In her free time she enjoys studying reformed theology, loves reading, painting and visiting Museums and Art Galleries.
John-Paul joined HUB in 2016 as a Project Engineer. His academic background in Engineering and Finance affords ‘JP’ a wide breadth of perspective estimating, managing and overseeing the delivery of the high quality products HUB is synonymous with. Previously, JP had worked for COMPLETE as a technical designer for over 2 years, designing and amending communication distribution networks.
JP is an avid basketball fan, and as die-hard techie he is actively engaged in numerous personal projects including statistical modelling, neural networks, robotics and automation. He is also personally pursuing his CFA accreditation.
Since obtaining his degree in Industrial Design from the National University of Cordoba in Argentina, Facundo has mainly dedicated himself to the design and engineering in the transport industry both in South America and Australia.
He previously worked as a mechanical engineer for Carlos Boero SRL in Argentina and Empire Vehicles in Australia specializing in truck axles, automated manufacturing machinery, metal forging and custom truck body designs. This has given him a strong technical understanding in a lot of metal fabrication practices and heavy vehicle design.
Outside of work Facundo enjoys riding on long distance trips on his motorbike. He also has a passion for aviation and is currently learning how to fly acrobatic aircraft. When he is not riding or flying Facundo plays for his local rugby team on the weekends. Once his adrenaline levels drop he enjoys painting and sketching while listening to music.
David joined HUB as a Solutions Consultant. After completing a Bachelors and Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture, he worked in business development in his native Ireland before entering into a career as a Landscape Architect.
David loves nothing more than to immerse himself in urban design projects and provide valuable assistance to clients.
Outside of work David enjoys exploring the many national parks and sights NSW has to offer, as well as spending time with friends, playing soccer and golf!
Johnny is a key member of our design team at HUB. Since obtaining his degree in Industrial Design from UNSW in 2006, Johnny has had consultancy as well as in-house design work in Australia and Asia. Fundamentally strong in every aspect of product design, Johnny is a confident designer who understands the importance of product development and innovation, as well as the commercial success of a product.
James after graduating with B. Industrial Design from Newcastle University, worked briefly in the Mining Industry before taking a position at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation. Developed a strong technical focus while working on design projects for Nuclear Reactors, Particle Accelerators, Monitoring, Transport and Nuclear Waste Management. Then he worked as an in-house designer at a small Marketing and Point of Purchase Design studio, which included several overseas quality management and sourcing trips. Outside of work James currently studying towards a second degree in computer science and I enjoy swimming, reading and spending time with family.
Shreyas Rane has recently moved from Koala Mattresses Sydney, to join the Hub Design Team. He has been an Industrial Designer within the manufacture and engineering design industry for the last 15 years with working experience in USA, India, China and New Zealand. He has Masters in Industrial Design, along with Bachelor of Architecture, and Diploma of Interior Design.
He is an amateur astronomer, an expert cook and a diehard Star Wars and Star Trek Fan. As many of us at Hub-Group, he loves travelling, and interacting with people around the world.
His spare time now consists of spending time with his five and a half year old daughter, reliving the childhood he missed out. He also enjoys painting, playing cricket, table tennis and badminton.
His favourite sport is Cricket, and his favourite rugby team is All Blacks!
Marcus Kriflik is our Assembly Manager for our newly acquired manufacturing and assembly site in Padstow. Marcus holds a degree in Business with a focus on strategic management and human resources. Marcus also hold a mechanical engineering trade as a mechanical fitter with many years of manufacturing, mining, construction and project experience. These experiences are currently being supported by further studies via a Masters in Ethics and Law.
Marcus enjoys picnicking with friends and family, walking and camping and is an avid fan of old Ford V8’s… as well as tinkering and whittling away many hours working on his project car.
