Scott is one of our Directors, with both a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Masters of Business Administration. He also holds a NSCA Level 1 & 2 OH&S.
Specializing in operations management, quality assurance, contract administration, project and financial Management, Scott has worked as an Engineering Projects Manager for Willoughby City Council as well as Managing Director for Complete Engineering Solutions in London.
When he’s not working on his great schemes for HUB, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and watching the Cricket.
Bob is an owner and Director of the HUB Group with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney.
Designing and delivering well detailed, simple but effective public domain outcomes is a key focus for Bob.
Bob’s passion for Industrial Design, and for good design generally, ensures that HUB designs and makes smart products that last and that deliver real benefits for people using our public spaces. Bob loves sport, the beach and his family.
General Manager: Smart City, Furniture & Shelters
Gavin is a General Manager and is responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. His career started by completing a coveted dual skilled engineering apprenticeship for Black and Decker (UK), gaining hands on technical experience, knowledge in all aspects of Quality Management while achieving the qualifications in Mechatronics and a Honors bachelor degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. He transferred into the automotive industry for NSK manufacturing safety critical steering columns, successfully delivering Renault Laguna and Alfa Romeo Giulietta. He also has experience in oil and gas and mining industries, leading project management activity of complex projects, solely taking ownership of individual contracts, communicating project objectives and dealing with all commercial, technical and logistics challenges associated with the execution.
Gavin has a passion for football (soccer, not rugby) and keeps up to date with all activity relating to his favourite team, Newcastle United – of the English Premier League.
Ed is a General Manager at HUB, responsible for delivery of HUB.NODE and Smartpole projects in Australasia. Ed has 13 years of experience working as an Engineer and a Project Manager. He has been working with the Group in Sydney for the past 7 years delivering noteworthy projects for Public Sector Clients. Starting his career in Ireland, Ed worked as a Structural Engineer before arriving in Sydney in 2010.
When Ed is not elbow-deep in project programs and excel he enjoys lounging around Bondi with his family, along with surfing with the masses. Rumour has it that he is a handy golfer, and given he is rarely in the office it all makes sense!
Minhas relocated from Qatar with a desire to pursue Master’s degree in Project Management from Curtin University, Sydney. Soon after graduation, he joined with Weir Minerals, Artarmon, as a quality project coordinator where he was tasked to ensure quality in every aspect of the project. After completing his term, he joined at the HUB as Project Manager, responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. Minhas loves spending his time watching movies and TV Series, also has a great passion for cricket and follows it religiously.
Bobby is our Supply Coordinator, without whom nothing would get delivered! Bobby holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Business and Advanced Certificate in Purchasing and Logistics Management.
Bobby specialises in logistics and supply, and has held previous positions as a Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
In his spare time, Bobby enjoys swimming, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
General Manager: Design
Jon is our Regional Manager for NZ and Special Projects, with a degree in Industrial Design.
Jonny is king of managing the design process from concept through to mass production specification, as well as liasing with design teams, manufacturers and clients. Before joining HUB, Jon was the General Manager of industrial design consultancy KWA Design, and Director of H+H Consulting, a multi-disciplined design consultancy with Tourism NZ, David Jones and Louis Vuitton as key clients. Lucky for us at HUB, he remains dedicated to fashion.
When he’s not flying back and forth between this great country and NZ, Jonny likes skiing, surfing, mountain biking and design innovation in all fields.
Graphic Designer & Sales Support
Elyse is our Business Development Assistant and in-house Graphic Designer, holding an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design.
Specializing in designing marketing material such as corporate branding, websites, brochures, advertisements and tenders, Elyse also responds to the bulk of HUB sales enquiries. She’d love to hear from you!
When she’s not winning best-dressed awards at HUB events (she is a graphic designer), Elyse enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and doing a bit of painting and sketching.
Senior Financial Accountant
Esther is HUB’s Senior Financial Accountant. She holds degrees in Commerce and Translation, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Specialising in financial accounting, reporting and taxation, Esther has held previous positions as a Management Accountant at Levitch Design Associates and Senior Tax Accountant at Kelly Partners Chartered Accountants.
Esther is having fun learning about different nuts, bolts and poles here at HUB, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies and eating in Sydney’s restaurants.
Sylvia is HUB’s Accounts Officer, holding an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Retail Management alongside certificates in Japanese.
Sylvia keeps the place running with a smile, joining us from bookkeeping positions at Harrison Pharmacy Group and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
When she’s not fielding our various requests, Sylvia loves reading and trying various types of cuisine, occasionally playing a spot of table tennis and badminton.
Johnny is a key member of our design team at HUB. Since obtaining his degree in Industrial Design from UNSW in 2006, Johnny has had consultancy as well as in-house design work in Australia and Asia. Fundamentally strong in every aspect of product design, Johnny is a confident designer who understands the importance of product development and innovation, as well as the commercial success of a product.
Jordan Fisher is an experienced Project Manager, educated in Civil Engineering. Jordan worked for Complete Urban from 2013, including projects like Stages 2-4 of Fairfield Council’s Aquatopia Water Park, Bay Run Timbrell Drive Upgrade, Dutton Plaza and Hughes Street Carpark’s in Cabramatta and many more. He’s skilled in Program & Project Management, Contract Administration, and Customer Service.
Jordan is a die-hard South Sydney Rabbitohs fan, and as a Scout Leader is actively engaged in all things outdoor including camping & hiking.
