Scott Williams
Director
Scott is one of our Directors, with both a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Masters of Business Administration. He also holds a NSCA Level 1 & 2 OH&S.
Specializing in operations management, quality assurance, contract administration, project and financial Management, Scott has worked as an Engineering Projects Manager for Willoughby City Council as well as Managing Director for Complete Engineering Solutions in London.
When he’s not working on his great schemes for HUB, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and watching the Cricket.
Robert Matchett
Director
Bob is an owner and Director of the HUB Group with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney.
Designing and delivering well detailed, simple but effective public domain outcomes is a key focus for Bob.
Bob’s passion for Industrial Design, and for good design generally, ensures that HUB designs and makes smart products that last and that deliver real benefits for people using our public spaces. Bob loves sport, the beach and his family.
Gavin Luke
General Manager Product Delivery
Gavin is a General Manager Product Delivery and is responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. His career started by completing a coveted dual skilled engineering apprenticeship for Black and Decker (UK), gaining hands on technical experience, knowledge in all aspects of Quality Management while achieving the qualifications in Mechatronics and a Honors bachelor degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. He transferred into the automotive industry for NSK manufacturing safety critical steering columns, successfully delivering Renault Laguna and Alfa Romeo Giulietta. He also has experience in oil and gas and mining industries, leading project management activity of complex projects, solely taking ownership of individual contracts, communicating project objectives and dealing with all commercial, technical and logistics challenges associated with the execution.
Gavin has a passion for football (soccer, not rugby) and keeps up to date with all activity relating to his favourite team, Newcastle United – of the English Premier League.
Ed Bourke
General Manager
Ed is a General Manager at HUB, responsible for delivery of HUB.NODE and Smartpole projects in Australasia. Ed has 13 years of experience working as an Engineer and a Project Manager. He has been working with the Group in Sydney for the past 7 years delivering noteworthy projects for Public Sector Clients. Starting his career in Ireland, Ed worked as a Structural Engineer before arriving in Sydney in 2010.
When Ed is not elbow-deep in project programs and excel he enjoys lounging around Bondi with his family, along with surfing with the masses. Rumour has it that he is a handy golfer, and given he is rarely in the office it all makes sense!
Jon Harrison
Industrial Design Manager
Jon is our Industrial Design Manager, with a degree in Industrial Design.
Jonny is king of managing the design process from concept through to mass production specification, as well as liasing with design teams, manufacturers and clients. Before joining HUB, Jon was the General Manager of industrial design consultancy KWA Design, and Director of H+H Consulting, a multi-disciplined design consultancy with Tourism NZ, David Jones and Louis Vuitton as key clients. Lucky for us at HUB, he remains dedicated to fashion.
When he’s not flying back and forth between this great country and NZ, Jonny likes skiing, surfing, mountain biking and design innovation in all fields.
Johnny Shi
Senior Industrial Designer
Johnny is HUB’s Senior Industrial Designer, a key member of our design team at HUB. Since obtaining his degree in Industrial Design from UNSW in 2006, Johnny has had consultancy as well as in-house design work in Australia and Asia.
Fundamentally strong in every aspect of product design, Johnny is a confident designer who understands the importance of product development and innovation, as well as the commercial success of a product.
Adam Connellan
Senior Industrial Designer
Adam is a Senior Industrial Designer in our team. Passionate about product design and enthusiastic about improving everything around him.
Adam values the strengths and skills of others in the team always looking for something new to learn.
Outside of work, Adam is active in his family and church communities. He loves to share his passion for board games with his friends and family.
Ahmed Da'na
Graduate Industrial Designer
Ahmed is HUB’s Graduate Industrial Designer, from UTS. He has done research into 3D printing shoes for physiotherapy in his honours year and worked in different design industries.
Ahmed is always looking to learn anything related to design and loves solving problems within a collaborative team. Outside of work, Ahmed spends time with family and practices various types of martial arts.
Emily Agius
Technical Documentor/Graphic Design
Emily Agius is HUB’s Technical Documenter/Graphic Designer, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design (Honours). As the central point of coordination for all product documentation, Emily undertakes audits as well as document control processes, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and in sync with any product changes. She also collaborates with the Graphic Design team, designing high-level marketing materials, graphics, wireframes, and maps.
Emily is ambitious, driven and detail-oriented and finds irrefutable joy in her work as her love for design grows over the years. She utilises the power of design as a tool for visual storytelling and aims to see creative visions come to life through expressive and intentional design strategies.
Aside from her love for all things design, Emily enjoys being active playing outdoor sports, going to the gym and social runs. Ironically, she is a sweet tooth person, and won’t refuse anything with chocolate. She has a great collection of big and bold earrings she wears around the office, loves a good cup of coffee and Italian/Japanese food.
Tiffany Ham
Junior Graphic Designer
Tiffany is HUB’s junior graphic designer with a Bachelor of Graphic Design. Her role is to design and create marketing materials for both print and digital design while maintaining overall consistency within established guidelines.
Tiffany loves a good bowl of Acai + peanut butter is the best combo and enjoy any food/beverages that have the flavour of matcha in them.
Minhas Khais
Product Manager
Minhas relocated from Qatar with a desire to pursue Master’s degree in Project Management from Curtin University, Sydney. Soon after graduation, he joined with Weir Minerals, Artarmon, as a quality project coordinator where he was tasked to ensure quality in every aspect of the project. After completing his term, he joined at the HUB as Product Manager, responsible for delivering furniture and shelter projects. Minhas loves spending his time watching movies and TV Series, also has a great passion for cricket and follows it religiously.
Bruno Freitas
Product Manager
Bruno Freitas is HUB’s Product Manager. Bruno is a mechanical engineer certified in PMP®, PMI-RMP®, Prince2®, MSP®, CSM® and several other project management methodologies, with over ten years of experience in a combination of Project Management and Mechanical Engineering roles in several industries within multicultural teams.
Bruno is highly self-motivated, proactive and results driven professional with proven track records of deliveries and performance.
Jessica Brito
Junior Product Manager
Jessica Brito is HUB’s Junior Product Manager. Jessica is highly motivated, dedicated, and proactive Civil Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Smart Cities course.
With a passion for innovation and sustainability, Jessica’s goal is to make the future significantly better, allowing others to benefit from sustainable technologies, and improving the quality of life for citizens.
Matty Mei Ling Ng
Systems Administrator
Matty is HUB’s Systems Administrator. She has been working in HUB for more than 5 years and has gained an extensive knowledge of our M1 system. She holds an Advanced Diploma in HR Management, Certificate of Accounts Administration and Certificate of Business Administration.
Matty enjoys listening to music and cooking.

Simon Witt is HUB’s Procurement Manager.
Simon has over 30 year’s experience in manufacturing, procurement & supply chain management.
Bobby Tang
Logistics Manager
Bobby is our Logistics Manager, without whom nothing would get delivered! Bobby holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Bachelor of Business and Advanced Certificate in Purchasing and Logistics Management.
Bobby specialises in logistics and supply, and has held previous positions as a Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
In his spare time, Bobby enjoys swimming, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Ross Whittaker
Assembly Manager
Ross is HUB’s Assembly Manager who is responsible for ensuring products are delivered in a timely manner while working closely with the dedicated technicians employed by HUB.
Outside of work Ross enjoys quality family time, cooking, mountain biking and sim racing.
Anthony McEvilly
Assembly Technician
Anthony McEvilly is HUB’s Assembly Technician, working mostly in the furniture department.
Anthony moved to Sydney from Ireland 7 years ago and enjoys playing soccer in his free time.

Rachel Dang
Financial Accountant
Rachel is HUB’s financial Accountant, holding a bachelor of accounting.
Rachel loves travelling and trying out new cuisines.
Sylvia Lai
Accounts Clerk
Sylvia is HUB’s Accounts Clerk, holding an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Retail Management alongside certificates in Japanese.
Sylvia keeps the place running with a smile, joining us from bookkeeping positions at Harrison Pharmacy Group and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
When she’s not fielding our various requests, Sylvia loves reading and trying various types of cuisine, occasionally playing a spot of table tennis and badminton.
